Stefano Pioli spoke on the eve of Fiorentina’s home challenge: “We trained very well, we will not be distracted by the commitment against Tottenham. De Ketelaere? It’s his turn, it’s his time. Ibrahimovic? Normal he wants to start, for us he is fundamental.”
“Intimately for me it is always a special match. Tomorrow even more so because Astori is always with me. I am happy with the association set up in Davide’s name that will do good to less fortunate people, as he would have wanted,” the Milan coach recalled.
Returning to the pitch: “We have to give continuity to results and performances. We are the ones who condition ourselves, but when we play as we know for so many elements, we have so many chances to make positive results. We have to play with focus and determination. With more players at our disposal we feel stronger, Calabria, Bennacer and Florenzi will also return to the squad. These last few months will make the difference.”
